@bobgoff @ClifMarshall Most people WANT love and acceptance more than anything. They should seek out counsel from those they trust as much as possible.

@bobgoff There's a lot of truth in that...but at some point, there is often a necessity to "speak the truth in love". I will love and accept a person, as Christ did (and does)...but He was never shy about pointing out the truth. "Neither do I condemn you...now go, and sin no more".

@bobgoff @kathy_kers This understanding is crucial when understood in light of the overarching story of Scripture. It’s God’s kindness tht leads us to repentance, bt we cannot repent meaningfully w/o encountering real #truth. Still, “ppl don’t care how much u know until they know how much u care.”

@bobgoff They need to find Gods love and power within themselves. Only turning to God will make them strong 💟

@bobgoff Oh my gosh this means SO much coming from you! Even though I just did that exact thing...I gave advice 🙈🤣🤦🏻♀️ Advice is good! Sometimes others can see what you can’t. But yes depending on the person go gentle if it takes time. We’re all different & take our own time differently☺️

@bobgoff @ericasipes People need to be listed-to while they figure their own solutions. Unless, the one they are talking-to is the perpetrator. Then, they want to hear the perpetrator's solution's. To me this is love and acceptance. No turning of the back.
