As I pondered on the not so heroic chapters written on David’s life, and in the life of others in the Word of God, I penned this: It is when we allow ourselves to be vulnerable, exposed, and share our not so heroic stories, we encourage others & give them the strength 2 press on

Let your life honor God even if you have to do it alone 💕

As we serve in our positions, whatever they may be, let’s keep a heart for God and a heart for the job. Worship while you work 😉

Remember when David took the armor that Saul put on him off? Before going to fight the giant. David chose not to wear someone else’s armor. Destiny nugget: Do you! God has given you all that you need. You are equipped. Take off whatever is holding you back and do you!!!

Check out 1 Samuel 16:18. The servants are talking about David there and this was way before he became king, and even before he fought the giant. My takeaway:Be the best at what you do. No matter what the assignment. You really never know who is looking. Do what you do well😉

What if I recognized my weaknesses can be used by God if I just acknowledge them and then leave them in God’s hands to do with as He sees fit? Weaknesses remind us we need God 😉

We are chosen for a purpose, by God, but we must never fail to understand we are not capable of operating in the fullness of it on our own. We need God! ♥️

Don’t let anyone become a distractor to accomplishing your purpose

How can an individuals’ heart be so hardened that taking a human life would in no way impact him or the other officials who stood by and never intervened? And the only way I make it is remembering Who God is...for I refuse to become like them. #JusticeForGeorgeFloyd

Sometimes I may have to fulfill God’s purpose if only in the confidence of knowing He is with me, therefore He will guide me and protect me. Stay focused on purpose.

In 1 Samuel 16:1, the LORD asked Samuel how long will he grieve over Saul. Now, Samuel had a dilemma. How do I move on? And God had an answer. Go! 😉 Life will present us with disappointments. The key is personally knowing when it’s time to move forward.
