For the third straight time the state prosecutor was a No show. Activists from the @A4cInitiative spent 90 days in prison for delivering a petition @kcbbankug. @stopEACOP should never be a crime.. case has been adjourned to 11th.Nov. @naturaljustice @JustStop_Oil @kiizaeron

1/ BREAKING: Case Dismissed! The 9 #stopEACOP activists arrested on May 21st for peacefully marching to deliver a petition to #KCB have had their charges dropped due to insufficient evidence. This comes after months of harassment, court delays & imprisonment. #ClimateJustice

Today our March happened at Head Offices of @stanbicug in Kampala, unfortunately their approval of funding to EACOP last week. We students we call upon these banks to stop sponsoring this deadly project. #Freetheactivists

It's a common occurrence in my duty as an ED of an activist group, @A4cInitiative to be in court, I have been in prison too, so I know what @IsaacSsemakadde fears are. I have been with @kiizaeron for over 5 years. I endorse him. @ug_lawsociety save the bar.. Please save UGANDA

In my line of duty, interacting with lawyers is a common occurrence. You get to know good and polished lawyers, the bad and greedy lawyers, intelligent lawyers, and the opportunistic ones. @kiizaeron is unstained. He is clean, a safe pair of hands for the Uganda Law Society.
Mr. Mabirizi Kiwanuka has made a meal out of the propaganda that my attorney, Eron Kiiza, ate my money. I asked him to explain which money, and he went reticent. The court awarded me millions, and I have other millions deposited there, but Eron has never touched a penny of it.

In yesterday’s Space, you mentioned that people expect lawyers to be knowing the law and uphold it, not to accept illegal norms. I believe it’s time for lawyers to unite and stand together in defense of their regulation which empowers them to elect leaders annually.
