Spend time outside of your office walls. Engage with guests and customers. Watch your staff interact. Understanding the impact your business has. "What is my purpose on this planet?" It's NOT to sit in this office and tap on this keyboard. It's a big world out there!

When a friend calls to tell you about the job they applied to, think about the people in that organization you might know. Contact them to provide your friend an unsolicited reference. It will mean more to everyone. And you'll benefit from the goodwill.
