While we do have 0.00000001% engineers in FFmpeg, we also have high schoolers writing assembly and complex C code. 99% perspiration and all that.
@yacineMTB one of the great things about X now is that posts like these show you what it really takes. you want to be an 0.00001% engineer? reimplement numpy or contribute to ffmpeg, find a protocol and create cryptographic abstractions for it. success is easy, just be awesome.

people nowadays just want to brag about whatever technology they like instead of building anything meaningful. they’re obsessed with their tools like rust or arch. talking about tech like that should be banned unless it’s about editors. if you’re using vs code you’re just dumb,
It's important to remember that "technology influencers" can be bad role models. Many encourage people to be "fans of technology" instead of actual developers of technology. Hot takes are easy, writing good code is not.
