....just a 3rd basemen or left fielder. Let them feel what its like to stand on that dirt mound with all eyes on you. The game can't even be played without giving the other man his chance so why do we have a small % of our team at youth levels that is forced to make the game go?

....in where we stand on the baseball field when on defense. The game is throwing, catching, hitting and running. Train every players arm to throw. The pitcher position just lifts his leg and throws to another player that is squatting. We overthink this. Your 11 year old isnt....

Seeing some youth pitch count posts recently. My theory on long term arm health is every baseball player on the team should play the pitcher position. Spread the number of pitches around. We talk so much about not specializing in a sport too early but we are specializing....

Big time pop to all fields. OF turned corner INF and even played SS for a weekend series. Good arm strength. Middle of the order hitter.

All the actions at both middle infield spots. Good arm strength, good hands, plus double play turner, can handle the bat, bunt for hit, situational and occasional pop. Good in weightroom, good grades, going to give it everything.

Front line bullpen arm that you know what you're going to get everyday. Mid 80s+ strike thrower with all pitches and has feel for the game. Great human, has leadership qualities, good communicator. Arm bounces back and can pitch multiple times per week.
