Just because a coach wants the baseball in the air, doesn’t mean he believes souly in launch angle. A pitcher works from up to down, as a hitter we want to work from down to up. Match the plane of the pitch. Last time I checked a line drive is in the air.

Players: Stop pursuing schools that don't want you. Find a school where you can develop and play right away. If you have called, texted, emailed and the only thing you got back was "come to camp" . they probably don't want you!! Pursue colleges where you are wanted!!.

Players: The avg cost of attendance at any 4-year state institution is $25k. The avg cost of attendance at a JUCO is $4k. Why go seat the bench for $25k, when you can play almost right away for $4k. Don't start ur life with $25k of debt before you play your first college game.

Coaches: Stop talking to hitters in the box. In war, when the bullets start flying, the last thing the soldier needs to hear is how to hold his gun and how to position his feet. Let your guys fight. If u instructed doing the week then u wouldn't have to instruct during the AB.

Top Hand Mallet Drill. You should be focusing on leading with the elbow to take the hand towards the bat path. You will want to also keep your palm up as long as you can throughout the swing. Watch how his top hand turns at the top of the swing.
