#StopGalamseyNow. We don't want heavy metals in our food & water.The small scale mining industry needs to scrapped .Mining in forest reserves has to be scrapped altogether .Galamsey financiers sustaining the industry must be nabbed.Our forests & water sources need rehabilitation.

Our president Nana Akuffo Addo claimed in his manifesto that he would put his presidency on the line to fight galamsey however ignored everything relating to the protest. The only time he responded was when organized labor threatened to go on a strike
