First impressions on Yasuke: He is a heroically written character, even if he was not a samurai irl (I did extensive research on this as a history nerd, and he was NOT in fact a samurai irl.) but I can overlook this and take it as historical fiction.

Update: Finally managed to get the game working by re-installing it on a SDD, and after that, rebooting a few times and getting 20 fps... Then finally solving it by manually tweaking the .ini file to enable Vsync. Fuck you Udisoft. Can I has play the game now?

Ok finally managed to start the game. Controlling Yasuke who just arrived in Japan with a bunch of japanese folk. All the japanese folk just froze like statues. Cannot go too far in any direction - invisible walls. Story skenario already bugged out?

First impressions: Tech issues down the ass on my mediocre PC (RTX 3080). Coudn't set all the graphic options in the beginning, had to reboot. Looked like shit. Adjusted another setting, had to reboot. Then had to reboot a third time. Most AAA games work effotlessly. Not this one

Ok I just paid 18€ to play Assassin's Creed Shadows. Booting it up rn. Expectations are low, but since I just played the shit out of Ghost of Tsushima, I wanna try this. Wish me luck! 😅
