One of my grandparents didn’t learn to read until he was retired. I marvel at the ingenuity of people who manage to survive despite illiteracy, but it wasn’t voluntary. Most people understand it’s a huge disadvantage. Please contribute to this initiative today!

One year, for Eastern Christmas, I made all of Imani’s gifts with Memento Mori as the theme. We never cared much about the religious aspects of it, but it was fun to give hir lil spoiled rotten self lots of gifts. Another year “funny hats” was the theme.☺️
