It was a particular segment of the internet who had an issue with it because they wanted to push a certain narrative. We’ve seen this happen multiple times. There are some games that genuinely needed to be better than what they were (i.e Redfall) but this was not one of them.

Some ARC Raiders players are so used to friendly lobbies...that when you shoot them they literally can't handle it. Their reaction is similar to taking an iPad away from a kid who is addicted to cheap dopamine. They've been playing "Don't Shoot" simulator for 2 months straight
