Most elections in Los Angeles see a smaller voter turnout than there are people who bike in this great city. We are a force and we can make a change.

Thread. Mike Bonin’s been one of the LA City Council’s foremost champions for justice in transportation, housing, and more. He could really use your help to overcome right-wing backlash and win another term representing #CD11. Let’s get to work!

This campaign is a fight for a better Los Angeles. Consider donating or volunteering to our movement.
I'm running for a final term on LA City Council in 2022, and I want to share why. This is a precarious time. We're starting to make progress with new policies on homelessness, policing, the climate crisis & more. But we're at risk of going backward and losing it all. (thread)

We know what needs to get done. We just need the leadership to do it. Before Alessa was killed, Olympic + Normandie had been listed on LA's High-Injury Network (roadways represent 6% of LA streets, but account for 70% of City crashes in which a pedestrian is killed or injured.

Last week I was sworn in as a member of LA's City Council. It wasn’t a conventional ceremony, but the moment was of so much significance to me and my family. Today is my first day. To all the people who brought us here: I’m so grateful and humbled to be on this journey with you.
