Discord has easily been the highest ROI app in my life. I learned minecraft there, got into college, met my cofounder (4 yrs ago), found a customer, hired, all thanks to discord, and now our entire company basically runs on the app lol. Never bet against discord

Running an ai video vs real video turing test. Not super rigorous, but false positives are higher than i thought (people misclassify real videos as ai), especially with high quality real videos Maybe the trend for content creation/photography/film shifts toward lower quality

the friend wearable would do much better in Tokyo. People are lonely, less anti-tech, high tolerance for weird public ads, high tolerance for weird tech, population density, subway, etc. I’m sure the nyc campaign was successful but the product will see more pmf in Tokyo
