Library Patron: I'm looking for a book; I don't know the title or author but it's red. Amazon: These skis are half off. Starbucks: No idea. Librarian: Pull up a chair, friend. #libraries

Agatha Christie lovers rejoice! We just got a huge haul of her mysteries, many of which no other local libraries have. These should keep you busy for a while!

AI-generated music from Suno v5 is now nearly indistinguishable from human-made songs. In blind tests, listeners guessed wrong as often as they guessed right.

@WesRothMoney I mean it's not just music, you're looking at all creative spaces. People aren't angry about AI because it's bad, they are because it's too good. Putting aside the prompt writer is an author and imbues what they want into the end creation. Really a crazy time to be alive.

Why listen to AI slop when you can listen to this? Can you understand? I cannot.

Late '70s football music was better than most pop music of today.

Here's a person who gets my favorite song. The look on her face when the bass pedals come in. Recalls the scene in Shagduk when Jenny's sitting on the speaker cabinet. https://t.co/S5fpNr6PFS

How many times have we been told that some new paleoanthropological find is “rewriting the story of human evolution”?

Whatever this guy does, you want to be a part of it. He's the real deal. Tell him Shagduk sent you.

Time to get plugged in. I've started a Patreon. I needed a place to put stuff and build support. Check it out! Doodles, writing, gaming, randomness. https://t.co/75QysOhZvm

Rocks with naturally occurring faces on them, in a museum in Japan. Clark Ashton Smith would have appreciated these.

Is anyone else intentionally reading books and watching films from the 70s and 80s, not for the sake of nostalgia, but to track the skid marks before Western Civilization leapt off a cliff? Or maybe I need a better hobby, like ping pong or adult coloring books.
