I’ve *finally* finished the script for Part 12. This one is an absolute monster. Easily the longest and most ambitious episode yet. Hopefully I can still have it finished for mid-late November.

I have officially finished the model-making stage. Now all that's left to do is compile all the images together and match them to the narration. I'm *really* hoping I can get the whole thing finished for the first week of December.

While I’m here, Alien Biospheres Part 14 is currently at 4000 words, but as I feared, it’s proving very difficult to structure. I’m hoping I can get at least the rough draft of the script finished within the next few weeks.

And now we come to the final and most annoying part: the audio. I've just finished recording the narration and it's 6 hours long. That should get cut down to around 1 hour after editing, which I can hopefully get done within the next 3-4 days.

It occurs to me that, since these Alien Biospheres videos take so long to make, I should probably give you more updates on how they’re going. The script for Part 12 is currently about 75% finished and about 9000 words, which, even for me, is obscenely long.

Please understand that which submissions get chosen has nothing to do with artistic quality. It's just that I received over 400 submissions for this episode, so there was no way I could include all of them.

The hardest part of writing this one has been deciding how to arrange all the subtopics in a linear format, since they all kind of tie back to each other and rely on the other the topics being explained before they make sense.
