Apple and Google’s inability to hot-reload code changes in development is accidentally leading to more orgs adopting React Native. If that wasn’t an issue, with agents writing features for two platforms, the cost of abstracting the platform would be much less worth it.

Is it because you are getting big things done in one shot?
an interesting update: the team is starting to move away from AI coding completely (devin/claude/etc) because it's so much harder to review the AI code than writing things themselves

It about how your use AI, the sloppy code could have also come from elsewhere it’s just would have been slow since it needed human to write it. With right set of validation and tools, we can control the quality
@iamsafnas @svembu I agree. It is faster than human developer. But as soon as it's circus starts, there is no way to stop. Finally, you have to review and fix it.

Not just UI work, there are many things around us within software development and outside that we have to look and can automate. It’s a change in mindset that is required to think AI as an assistance in acceleration of our work not something magic wand that it can do everything
We use AI coding tools across the company - with the caution to engineers that they have to review and approve all the code and take responsibility for it. We don't force feed or mandate AI tools, and leave the decision on how best to use AI to experienced engineers. With that

One might argue that agentic software development will make software engineers dummer, I would argue it’s the opposite. I’ve learnt more technologies, languages and tech stacks in the last 12 months than probably any other time in my career. No stack is unapproachable now.

It’s been week the issue has been escalated and been 15 days since the required documents were sent. There is not even an update on the status. Irony is that I paid $155 for Tatkal to be processed at the earliest and every time I speak to customer care I am charged $2.49/min

@DKShivakumar Can someone pls explain this stupidity to me? Why do we need a separate Khata, if we have already registered, paid stamp duty etc? What stops BBMP from integrating with revenue records and raising property tax notices accordingly? No other state has this stupidity! @bbmpcommr
