We desperately need help at grassroots in Pokot where we are right now, the 1st activists to reach this area. There are still many areas if Pokot where FGM and associated child "marriage " are rampant but not yet reached with any sensitisation or awareness. #marginalization

Cheap +effective. Tomorrow we will be holding our 7th ARP ceremony. So far we have helped 4000 girls avoid FGM #EndFGM

To end FGM in the U.K. we need to end it globally. Today I met specialist FGM midwives and activists in London clinic @imperialnhs to hear how women are affected by this harmful practice and announce that @DFID_UK is pledging £50m to help #endfgm by 2030.
