A magical time of year is coming in February- a chance to see a natural #firefall at #horsetailfall in @YosemiteNPS Last year was the most amazing one I have ever witnessed-this video captured the wind moving the water in a spectacular show. #yosemite #yosemitefirefall

This morning in the sierra was nothing short of insane. Incredible light in the wake of the clearing storm, paired perfectly with remaining fall colors š

In 2016, we hosted the first P-22 Day Festival in Griffith Park to celebrate the remarkable P-22 and help people coexist with wildlife. Now we are Celebrating 10 Years of the P-22 Day Festival! Wow!!!!! Hope to see you on October 25 in Griffith Park!

A gorgeous fall day in Yosemiteās high country yesterday at Gaylor Lakes Basin, with a chilly wind signaling what is to come. 6-10 inches of snow is predicted for Tioga Pass next week. I said my goodbyes to the high country for the season and wished the land a good winter rest.

Sophie the pika came to say goodbye for the winter. I miss my pika friends after the passes close. But a splendid day in the Yosemite high country, and it might be the last for the season as snow is arriving Monday. And I had wonderful companionship-thank you @GabrielleCanon !
