Congratulations to my industry collaborators at Google for releasing passkey support for Android and Chrome in beta! Passkeys — the standardization and interoperability of an easy-to-use, phishing-resistant password replacement — have a bright future.

Apple really needs to finally crack down on custom in-app-webviews and fix deep linking. This, in combination with app banners and companies artificially breaking your own mobile page makes the iPhone unusable. @Meta @instagram @Reddit @Apple

You wouldn't eat random crap handed to you by a greasy robot on the street. Being deliberate about what you eat is critical to your health. Well, being deliberate about the information you consume is critical to your mental well-being.

Got my iPhone X battery replaced. The screen was getting bent slightly out of the case from the pressure of the puffy old battery 🥲

Turns out the feature does already exist: The Shazam button in control center (enable in settings) listens to device audio and identifies the song 👍

When can I finally use my iPhone to shazam the song the phone is playing right now? Unbelievable that you still need a second phone for this in 2021

There've been a lot of conversations about Apple's CSAM scanning and its impossible to follow. I made a nice summary.

This would actually be an amazingly effective way to teach people how computers work and what computer programming is.

Not sure why it took me so long, but I’ve been using my phone caseless for the past month or so. No reason to use one when working from home, really. This iPhone X feels so slim and precious without a case! Who would’ve thought?

I, sadly, just learned that @e_swick passed away last December. He was a great guy and will be missed. https://t.co/RTSaUXh1mR If you don't know who he was he made Harbor, OS Experience, and various other things and was active in @saurik 's IRC the same time I was. Rest in peace

VSCode’s “remote ssh” feature is awesome. I can effortlessly code, run and debug programs on a GPU server from my local machine. The experience is the same as development on the local machine - bravo!

The next time I buy a new monitor, I’d like it to be an ultra wide model with retina-like pixel density. Does that exist yet? For some reason high pixel density is not popular outside the Apple bubble
