I want people to chime in on this assessment.
I believe that what tobes is doing with @pushmatrix's role and others is that he is literally like one of the old school rennaisance dudes that is commissioning a new kind of artwork. Like he's literally bringing into the world and general consciousness a new form of artwork

Proud to announce we just renewed our annual $18,000 sponsorship for the The PHP Foundation! Check out this summary on the work completed in 2025. So much more could be accomplished, if all businesses using PHP contributed. Sign up as a sponsor and help moving PHP forward!
Thanks to all our sponsors for supporting The PHP Foundation in 2025! Together we helped ship PHP 8.5, released PIE 1.0, supported FrankenPHP, launched the PHP MCP SDK, secured a 2nd STA investment for Streams, and much more. Please consider sponsoring PHP in 2026 🙏💜

OpenAI’s perception as having ceded the top position in AI with respect to frontier model development and consumer adoption forces a few realizations: - Vertical integration is critical. Last month, I fine-tuned Gemini 2.5 with Vertex AI and deployed to an endpoint on GCP with a

Many teams ship ChatGPT/Claude to production for simple tasks. That's like using a Formula 1 car for a McDonald's run. Here's how to choose what features need AI and which models to use: https://t.co/alFRoz3xlk Lower latency. Reduced costs. Better privacy. Smaller footprint✌️

💥 I’ve been doing these visual explainers, this one is about rendering on the web, I’ll post one each day this week. Hopefully it helps break down stages- parsing, render tree construction, layout, paint, etc, for folks who are learning.

Been a long time since an internet outage at the house. I had no idea AirPlay was so unbelievably broken. Local WiFi should be enough. But between streaming apps being finicky about a local-only WiFi connection and AirPlay… 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Friends in the commercial SMS space: When I receive text spam like this (several times per day) I assume it costs the sender some small amount of money to send. Does it cost money when I reply? ‘Cause I’d love to just spam the hell out of those numbers and have it cost them.
