What applying for a visa looks like for any third world passport holder. Doesn’t matter how genuine you are, or how much you have travelled before, you still need to submit your life story since birth every time :) Our own people are partially to blame too though.

#Aragalaya wasn't a philosophical 'seed for change,' it was a visceral 'cry for fuel, food, and power.' In 2019, desperation hadn't hit, and 6.9 million (52.25%) voted for ethnic supremacy. 5 years later, the current 'change' figurehead AKD got 42.31%.

All these are great in theory. How do you bring #LKA to the ICC? What should be the next step? Many believe it should be ICJ and not ICC. What’s your answer for them? What about crimes committed before 2002? What makes you think China is going to deliver for Tamils?
@GnaniGnaneshan @MASumanthiran @UN_HRC @UN UNHRC is not the right place to seek #accountability, they have collected enough evidence but still refusing to refer to the #UNSC #UNGA @IntlCrimCourt because Tamils have no "political leverage". If Tamil political parties cannot talk to China for leverage then they should quit.

The travel document issued to him was by the Dept. Of Immigration and Emigration and given to him by the SL Mission in India. Why couldn’t the immigration official who arrested him check on this then and there? Rather than hand him over to the CID and charge him in court?
Above incident is due to application of law automatically to ppl who emigrated through non leagalized port. This law could have changed after d war easily if concerned ppl worked on it. Just spoke with Minister Ananda Wijepala& he 'll take immediate actions to change d policy.
