For fear of becoming a bore, whatever the British state does costs taxpayers billions. It's just the way it works. We have become a deeply corrupt country - and it pains my soul.

What a sign of the failure of the Labour Party as an institution that it selects a leader, wins an election conclusively and within a couple of years in government feels the need to replace him. It's British institutions in general: they are failing. Leaders cannot achieve

Why this makes any difference is beyond me. The fact is intelligence from the Dutch police about the racist vile maccabi thugs that went on a Muslim Hunt the night before was the key factor leading to the ban! No reasonable fair minded person would object!

Thinking about the Fall of British rock music, obviously diversity has something to do with it - the animus against white males and a priority on diversification of music sources. However, I'm also thinking that whole British post-blues thing may have finally run out of road.

Mo Salah will never walk alone. Heโ€™s too adored by Liverpool fans for what heโ€™s achieved over nine years and 420 games, the 250 goals, 113 assists and the eight trophies, including two Premier Leagues and the Champions League. So many unforgettable memories, so many entries in

Labour is still very much in the game for much of that 49% when an election comes around. Don't presume that your own feelings represent those of the whole country, or 'the people'. For better or worse, they generally don't.

But it could come back again. What I do with polls nowadays is look at Reform + the Tories versus all the other (to various degrees left-leaning or -adjacent) parties. From that poll it shows 51% versus 49%. And this figure is reasonably consistent.

One of the recurring mistakes people who follow politics make is assuming that current trends are baked in, permanent - especially when they accord to their own views. Labour has gone from being unelectable to being elected with a big majority to being even more unelectable.

Labour are falling in the polls because they are no longer perceived as simply dishonest and incompetent, but downright evil. Everything theyโ€™ve done since lying their way into power has been to the detriment of our country and its people. We are governed by our enemies.
