Shortlist contender for the flashiest cinematography of all time and it's glorious. So vibrant, imaginative, and beautifully composed. Totally worth giving Mubi my info to get the proper 4k version. Thanks @BadFilmTakes1 for the rec!.

Middle section is where things get tricky for me, The Master and Phantom Thread are such growers compared to some of the others but man they're all so good. Also Licorice Pizza hive rise up

Finished Vineland, god I love Pynchon. Who else would still be introducing crazy shit like a film noir-themed mall with outlets including a mineral water store called Bubble Indemnity, all the way into the last chapter, basically as a side note? So ready for the movie
