Had a conversation with someone, who said E bikes aren’t real bikes and it’s cheating , trying to explain that my E bike is pedal assist, not flick a switch and sit there, they were adamant that I’m not a cyclist anymore. Thoughts ?

All cyclists have different views about hi viz and helmets and that’s fine; I like to wear a helmet and the more reflective and ‘seen’ I am the better, it gives me more confidence to cycle if have reflective clothes and lots of lights. My helmet also protects in minor falls too.

They triage like this at my surgery already, I was told my “ breathing sounds fine” I actually had pleurisy! And was glad I was persistent.

Just did my 3rd least favourite job & mowed the lawn, 2nd least favourite job is getting the sheets in & making the bed, although I do love having a nice clean bed to get into, last least favourite job, is putting the other 3 loads of washing away. Does anyone want to marry me?

Do you find if you’ve come off your bike at a certain spot on a regular ride, that it affects how you ride the same route and causes anxiety? I’ve come off twice in the same spot as I tense up and overthink.

My granddaughter was rushed into hospital earlier today with possible sepsis, she’s only 3 . If anyone can spare a little prayer for her i would be grateful 🙏🏻. It’s heartbreaking seeing her so very poorly.

Finally managed to button up and zip a pair of size 10 jeans, this may not seem to be much of an achievement to some on here, but it’s a big deal for me, I’ve worked hard at the gym and on my diet for the past 3 months, still got a bit to go, but I’m heading in the right way 😁

Hazel update, 15 hours of IV antibiotics, fluids and pain relief seem to have helped her so much, such an improvement from 24 hours ago, she’s over the worst .
Blood tests show she’s got influenza type B and is anaemic. A few more tests to do but I’m so relieved. Little warrior
