Why aren’t we closing schools yet?. 1) Children are still at the lowest risk. 2) Closing schools would pose HUGE problems with childcare for some. 3) If we close schools too early then there is a risk people won’t self-isolate properly as they get fed up. #covid19.

Just to clarify:. 1) Self-isolation is what you do if you/a member of your household has symptoms. It’s to reduce the risk of spread outside the home. 2) Social distancing is what you do if you don���t have symptoms, to reduce the risk of picking it up (e.g. working from home).

Much like other people in this heat, I’ve taken to sleeping with no clothes or bed sheets. That was a great idea until I was woken up by the window cleaners this morning. I have no curtains. I couldn’t even escape so had to lay there and pretend to be asleep 🤦🏽♂️. 😳🍑🍆😱.

I think it’s important to factually clarify this… no one was having a social drink in our staff rooms. In fact, we often didn’t even make it to them during/after shifts.

I didn’t think I’d have to clarify, but here it is. I’m lucky to work in a hospital that has a vaccination hub on site. They vaccinate eligible people (as per the clinical priority list) as well as front line staff. I registered & joined the queue like everyone else!.
