That set up never worked from that angle. The patch has nothing to do with it. D4+4 is the better route because it confirms it's more consistent. That and it's easier to do a follow up RS 3, 4

Eddy wasn't low? He was mid. He just required extra work to do what other characters did because that combo structure wasn't heavy on relying solely on oki. You needed high damage doing damn near doing 70 percent which he leaked constantly.

Before questions arise, let me point out something about this list. This is open to debate. BUT DO KNOW, I have about 600 matches invested in this of my own along with watches numerous others. As AGGRESSION is the focus of how I go about explaining this, keep that in mind.

A better question is why did you mash high against Eddy? That's a misstep on your part. However I will say the way he moves backwards AFTER starting attack animation is weird to see in slow-mo. But I cannot say for certain if said movement was intended.

My philosophy is NOTHING that takes bar to use should be getting stuffed by anything that is without. The whole part of having the bar is to extend combos / strings and make them safe. That's an innate problem.

Note that Drake also called out that Kendrick would make a play at claims of being around minors and whatnot too. They both did exactly as the other predicted in those regards.

Jack is around mid. He has some pretty safe range he can sit on, and his damage is pretty great and, like Feng, has a very sturdy mechanic that makes you play a guessing game that can lead to game-ending momentum. But he lacks consistent pressure whereas he has some decent mix.

To Kendricks side, his lyrical work is profound. The way he uses his tracks almost like therapy sessions for old and future generations is as genius as it could ever be. He also does well too play on some, albeit overused, bits about Drake's personal life. Especially the children

Leffen loves to be that sort of villain. Though I give him credit. He might be wrong a lot, it's not entirely misguided and good accomplishments reflect that. Filipinochamp, Tyler1, and LTG were much the same in some cases.

Also, each rank likely has one or two outliers to the outline I wrote out for each rank, but this doesn't take away from them. It only shows that most of these classifications are by no means perfect. They are still fitting overall and will seem OP to most.

As I conclude my thoughts, let it be known that I also do need to spend some more time labbing. However, I have constantly thrown people in certain places based on how difficult they are for most ( myself included ) to deal with, without knowing what they have to offer.

Personally, I think this is okay-ish? My only issue is that the heat-system is also inconsistent and gets eaten by stuff that feels like it shouldn't. But that could also be because people expect it to act like a crutch and win against everything.

Because only grabs and lows can beat the heat-system, it does make it very mash heavy given not many characters are crazy good with their low-options. But ironically, some of the strongest characters have some of the strongest low options that keep people from engaging.

I commend your perseverance, I had a similar self image journey so I know how never wrecking it is to even talk about. Granted learning to appreciate and be appreciated for your shape is also a must. Not everyone is biologically capable of being the fittest, and that's okay too.

Some characters are designed to make you want to learn more than just mashing the buttons. Asuka, for example, is a prime example of this. Paul? Lars? Even the Bears. Eddy shouldn't be an exception.

B Rank, is occupied with those they are actually more Jacks ( pun intended ) of all trades. However, what they make up in versatility, they lack in damage and frustrating options. Their damage can sometimes be subpar which can allow for multiple mistakes to be made against them.

The C Teir Rank is occupied notably of the bears because their big bodies make them targets for combos that can lead to higher damage or situations no other person can be caught in outside of ( possibly ) Jack.

And lastly, Asuka teir. She is slower than most and relies heavily on gimmicks even if she does have tremendous damage. Knowing even the most basic fundamentals will usually lead to her being very easy to deal with however.

A Rank, is occupied with those who are very frustrating because they force you to know the game a great deal and to have patience more than just being strong. Proper use of sidestep, grab escapes, & low block / parry can make them feel like they are getting nothing done.

S Rank, is occupied with those who have everything you could want without too many drawbacks that lelad to having their momentum completely taken. they have great mix-up options, lows that lead into big combos & damage, and have numerous safe & quick / but damaging buttons.

Pretty sure he got himself bagged from Evo a couple years ago. Tyler1 wasn't an exaggeration in the beginning, he was very much toxic. But he has changed a lot and did things most can't fathom without dedication. LTG is actually above average in what he does. He just isn't great.

Gonna prefix this by saying a wired connection is indeed much more reliable. However, this is not a WIFI issue, solely. I have gone against people with WIRED connections that are as bad if not worse. People should be running test-matches with-folk if they are allowed to join in.

His mix-up game is complimented by the range. But given mobility is wild in this game, he does suffer for that self-same reason, as it makes him feel very linear with certain strings. This is obviously a huge weakness given the best characters have MANY homing attacks.

There is a difference between beating a game and enjoying it. The philosophy isn't so out of pocket. Knowing the difference is very important but I stress that enjoying the game is more often the initial developmental goal. Beating it is just an optional journey.
