I'm gonna say an unpopular opinion. Imho t's ok for suboptimal punishers to whiff. Tekken 7 was full of it and it's a way to make things difficult, to react to spacing which people say they love. During patches they fixed inconsistencies, but in this way everything went flat.

The reason there was so much backdashing was because of poor step and overabundance of counterhit options. T7 backdash was even shorter than some games before it Please learn to form opinions through a meaningful digestion of information
They nerfed backdash because game was backdash fiesta. Homing options should be rare and with additional minus frames on block to commit into sidestep as a preferred option of neutral

I don't understand why this is being brought up. Having strong homing moves is fine, many like this existed in T7 and they were pretty inconsequential The problem is trash backdash ranges. Homing being too strong is a consequence of sidestep being the only strong movement option
Another thing i wanted to talk about is that Homing moves that leads into a heatengage or followups shouldnt be plus on block 😭 atleast make them zero on block .

a flaw in this game design is that the option intended to avoid okizeme just resets you into more okizeme. You literally have to get up and guess the mixup in this game because if you lay on the ground both mid/low hits grounded and makes you guess the same mixup again.
I think this guy has a degrading fetish cause he didnt wanna get up and wanted me to keep kicking him bro… he did this every round btw 😭 bro tekken players 🥀

i don't understand why people are loosing their shit on this and saying that Gosain got robbed, it missed because wall was clearly off axis. and even after that Gosain had more than half life bar and Jon made an exceptional comeback from a pixel.
