We have a few backers already. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to get these funded and start the fun bit - making them. I realize money is tight and there are things more worthwhile than weird literature but...there's not many things!

I really, really appreciate everyone who backs this. If you can't, well I appreciate you too! The Two anthologies are very different, but both decidedly Bear Creek.

I will go into financial details in a post on the KS site itself, so you can see how close the margins are. $5000 sounds like a lot, but to produce two hardback anthologies and pay everyone is expensive.

I know this is traditionally the time of year when Lit Mags ask for your support, so here I am. My aim with these books is to a) make them beautiful and b) pay people as close to pro-rates as i can.

People end up in motels for many reasons, and the one outside of Bear Creek is no exception. Heartbreak, desperation, the promise of the first good night's sleep in weeks. It's always fully booked, but no one ever stays in the honeymoon suite. Can't wait to check y'all in.
