@about_plane Integration with the index note for the daily logs. Gotta edit all the other callouts on that note now, fun.

Beginning work on producing activity maps. These are test maps from July 2025, mainly getting used to QGIS and brushing up on Used @about_plane's maps as a guideline on the visuals, will work on giving them a more unique look though.

All of the main entries for survivability equipment (i.e., countermeasures) seen on US Mi-17s are now up on the identification page in my vault. Next is to identify the myriad different antennas, and eventually move on to avionics.

I should note that so far, I've only gotten as far back as February of 2025 in my manual flight logging process, and I can imagine I'll see plenty more examples of these birds flying in and around the Farm. Still, I thought it'd be yap about it a little bit.

This is by no means the first time that private Hips have been seen at Camp Peary. The image in the first post of this thread is actually of N207XX on its way to the Farm in late 2024 (but I've yet to log that). As well, they've even been spotted there on Apple Maps.

And a day earlier, 2025-02-04, it was airborne again around Camp Peary, this time leaving little question as to whether or not it actually ventured into the reservation proper.

Earlier on 2025-02-05, it was tracked airborne in the vicinity of Camp Peary. It might have flown from there, or it could've flown from Middle Peninsula Regional Airport (KFYJ), a location visited by other Pegasus helicopters in the past (such as those mentioned in this thread).

Going from newest to oldest, its appeared around Pegasus' home of Reynolds Airpark, FL a couple of times. Once on 2025-05-22, with a very sparse track that *may* suggest it was returning from a stint up North. And again on 2025-02-14, more definitively returning from up North.

🧵Whilst logging flights of interest from February 2025, I noticed that one of Pegasus' more adsb-shy Mi-17s, N207XX, appeared in the vicinity of Camp Peary, VA. (#N207XX / #A1AE27 / 004M161).Photo credit: u/Ready-Tip-8761
