do i think AB has some pull/influence and her opinions are valued when she voices them? 100%. but she doesn’t have the final say. TM does.

anyhoo, all this to say, i don’t think AB and PK had any say in any of this at all… (of course i don’t know this as fact and i just looked into a few things for funsies, so take it all with a grain of salt)

so yeah, i don’t think PK will go on being an exec producer for 911 if his character is really 💀, but i could be wrong!

anyway, if an actor’s character is killed off, the actor in this situation often stops being an exec producer, too

so while some actors are still definitely involved in the creative process, i’m talking about the instances where they’re not as much, like with long procedurals

(and from what i’ve seen, that’s mostly for tv shows like long procedurals, not for movies and the likes)

exec producers in this very specific case aren’t involved in day-to-day decisions all that much, and their presence on set is often optional unless they’re filming their own scenes

okay, after looking a little, i think that more often than not, a well-known actor being an exec producer on a tv show is what the industry calls a “vanity title” i.e., they don’t have much of a say creatively but they do get paid more if the show’s successful
