Tough call always, but “Marge Be Not Proud” is my favorite episode, so it has to be this.
BTW, this is one of my alltime "I must have this" cels. If you happen to have one, I will trade you a cool piece of Simpsons crud for it. If you could have one Simpsons cel, what would it be?

I’m annoying myself at this point, but I have one more thing to add to my late night rant. It used to be harder to find people who didn’t blab on about how bad the show had gotten, and I’ve really seen that change. That brings me a certain level of peace. Long live @TheSimpsons.

I won’t sit here and tell you every episode of The Simpsons is good. That’s an argument no one could win - but let this episode be a reminder of how much the people who make this show still love it. Thank you @dangreaney, @mattselman, @AlJean, the entire team. Keep em’ coming!.

I am happy to say that I’ve seen an influx of love for recent seasons of the show, and many people calling it a “renaissance” - and if you haven’t joined in on that claim yet, now is the time to catch up. And while you’re at it, watch some other seasons that you’ve never seen.

It is one perfect bow on top of another that rolls it’s eyes while also showing you exactly how pointless it is to get bogged down in the missteps rather than rejoicing in the triumphs. This episode made me smile, shake my head, and think about how much I still love this show.

People often criticize the show beyond Season Take-your-pick and you can present plenty of strong arguments about what and why it doesn’t always land for you, but tonight’s episode is a masterclass in exactly why the show is still on.

Alright, I have a lot to say about tonight’s episode of @TheSimpsons. This episode truly slapped the hell out of me, and this is the kind of self awareness that reminds me why this show has meant so much to me throughout so many eras of my life.
