@JaneyGodley Really important message Janey and I’m sure so many women will relate, the children of those who grew up in such households certainly do. Always speak out and be the voice for the voiceless, you will undoubtedly give many hope and the courage to recognise coercive control!

Father Martin Chambers was such an incredibly kind soul, he was so well liked by people of all faiths & none. He will be missed across the communities he served in Kilmarnock & more recently in Troon. He was a humble servant of his faith & to our community. May he rest in peace.

Kilmarnock IS a great place to live, work and socialise in, with great cultural assets like Dean Castle Country Park we have the jewel in East Ayrshire’s Crown. We need to big the town up more often not talk it down. It’s our town and we need to be its champions!!

The outrage at Boris failing to provide his WhatsApp’s was, rightly, justified. I do wonder what many Nationalists will have to say on the former First Ministers behaviour? The phrase “two cheeks of the same arse” springs to mind!

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.

I do wonder if any Councillors will quit the SNP over the Scottish Government’s shameful handling of this years devastating cuts to local council budgets 🤔

I know narrative is always that those from opposing parties must “hate” each other but for the short time I had the company of other party reps at the polling place today it was good natured, we had a laugh & were civil. As it always should be @williecoffeysnp @iclare1 @Killie03

I do represent the best ward in East Ayrshire however some of the unusual and less well known things within our communities make it even more unique such as this rare King Edward Viii Postbox on Kay Park Terrace. Most were removed or modified after Edward abdicated the throne.

Great to see my new sign go up at @Deanthistle , James & all the volunteers go above & beyond in the work they do to provide free activities for local young people to enjoy whilst their pitches must be amongst the best maintained in the shire! Proud to support them in all they do!
