Three phases have been identified in the history of #fishing on L.Victoria namely The Pre-colonial phase, Pre-Nile perch & Nile perch phases. We are soon to transition into the fourth, possibly The Small Pelagic phase or whatever the academia may decide. #IndigenousFisheries.
