Pursuing the unity of church does not mean that we should stop caring about theology. But it does mean that our love of theology should never exceed our love of real people, and therefore we must learn to love people amid our theological disagreements.

My daughter came home from the second week of preschool with this song of thankfulness. As a parent, I’m grateful for the teachers in her life who are involved in her faith formation at this early age.

This is a brilliant example of how to be a Christian in the public square. Notice the witness, but in a form the culture can handle. We should desire to have more Christians in these spaces and give them grace as they operate.

Our team started the day with Alongside You Counselling group. We touched on recognizing anxiety, PTSD, and depression in students. Recognition of these signs begins with knowing students. Knowing students comes with relationships. Begin and end with relationships.

A morning of worship, sushi, learning, planning, games, and simply being together. It is clear this is a tight-knit team that has truly missed being together.

Opening the year with a whole staff activity establishing a school-wide PBIS matrix. Clear expectations for staff and students based on “Keepin’ it REAL” at DCS. Responsible, Encouraging, Authentic, and Loving.

Such a privilege to work and play with this wonderful group. No better way to wrap up the school year than with a friendly golf tournament.
