anyways that's just my analysis, i think boost is the worst style here but idk

i think it's also because like the boost immediately had its peak and fleshed out potential with unleashed. imo, the adv formula has never been fully fleshed out same with the classic era, tbh, bc while the games are all good, none of them are really trying for the same thing

and it's not hard to understand why actually as a style, at least in colors+gens, it's the easiest to pick up n play. but because of that, a lot of people never reach the skill ceiling classic + adv has. which you're not obligated to, but ofc that means the games wont be as fun.

so from what i can tell, the boost formula was what with most current sonic fans had for most of their lives even if you were born in 2002 or something, you only didnt have boost for 6 years. a lot of people simply have played the boost more, and for longer
