He’s right. As a tool and not as a replacement, AI, when perfected, can do good for humanity. We just need to wait for when it becomes environmentally friendly.
Markiplier is being called out for directly supporting AI research, but he believes the tech can do good. "There are reasons to be critical of [AI] the way that it currently is. That doesn’t mean that it’s entirely, as a concept, a problem."

Okay, so I learned that Generative AI can NOT ONLY replace human art and creativity, but it also is bad for the environment like NFTs are. My original thought process was that using it was fine as long as you only used it as a tool and not a replacement. Not anymore. Always bad.
