Just going to put it out there that universal handcuff keys can be bought cheap on Amazon and are 100% legal for anyone to own. So if dozens of people in a big crowd happened to have one, someone like this will easily be unrestrained in no time.

Also, don’t think playgrounds need to look like playgrounds at all for kids to be immersed.

@_cturner I wonder how many parents would actually play along instead of being glued to their phones if playgrounds weren’t designed to like this.

When I was 18, I had a near-death experience. I was with friends in a field, when I became motionless and stopped breathing. I had passed away. My friends could not see my breath nor feel my pulse. I don't remember too many things, but some things are still vivid to this day. I

Readers frequently ask me how they can support my work, whether I have a Patreon or some other way to accept donations. I don't have anything like that. What I have, instead, are these books, which I can't seem to stop writing. The best way to thank me for my work is to buy

Audiobooks are hands-down the most enshittified aspect of publishing, which is why I make my own audiobooks and pre-sell them on Kickstarter, which is how I get around the fact that Amazon *refuses* to carry my audiobooks: https://t.co/gL3UFz5iDt 1/

There have been 47 episodes of mass violence on school campuses this year. The 47th took place at a Denver-area high school, 26 years after the Denver-area high school in Columbine, where three people were shot on Wednesday, two of them students. The 46th school shooting of the

Sadly, we’ve always had violence in America; what’s different today is the aftermath, and the battle to define political opposition amid violence.

The most enshittification-proof way to get the Enshittification audiobook, ebook and hardcover is to pre-order them on my Kickstarter! Help me do an end-run around the Amazon/Audible audiobook monopoly and disenshittify your audiobook experience in the process:

This is basically a huge con on Google's part where they force hotels to pay to sponsor links on their own searches. Note that The James has paid to sponsor theirs, but the Grand Hyatt hasn't, making a link to " https://t.co/o3PnP0Z1Hx" the top result.
