@atti_cus I don't understand what's the definition of cruelty! I myself come from a farmer family and Many of my friends share the cruelty they face while trying to get fertilizers, seeds and also the selling process, if their crops get damaged due to natural calamities they had to bribe

@atti_cus Also, India’s agri system runs on backs of farmers who face brutal working conditions, impossible debt cycles, pesticide exposure, land grabs, and some of the highest farmer suicide rates in the world. The veggies, grains, and pulses don’t magically appear without exploitation.

Not sure how vegetarian food is free from cruelty. Lakhs if not crores of animals (mice, birds, snails, beetles etc) are killed to keep vegetables and grains safe. Pesticides are the bedrock of agriculture. Guess what the "pests" in pesticide refers to.
