Well said, Tim Winton. Scott Reef—one of the last remnants of an ancient reef system—is a vital sanctuary for endangered pygmy blue whales and vulnerable green sea turtles. But Woodside’s toxic plans threaten to turn it into an industrial gas zone. We can’t let that happen.

Aren’t Albo and Tanya a great pair? Instead of stepping in to stop the disgusting Env pollution and threats to ecosystems and seals, handfish and the like, they back the 100% foreign owned industry with promises of exemptions from Env law. #auspol

Every time native forests and wildlife look like being protected, logging industry screams about supposed lost jobs. NSW Forestry is a rogue corporation. Subsidised $29 m last year, deliberately over estimated log volumes and quality. Stop protection racket @ChrisMinnsMP #auspol

#GunaiKurnaiCountry: Lots of #flyingfoxes in Bairnsdale right now (but not as many in recent years). It’s the time of the year when the coastal banksias (Banksia serrata) are flowering & FF are feeding on the nectar, in return they’re dispersing pollen across vast areas.
