my view is that . a/ IMF needs to force the Sensibles’ hand, get the mf house in order. b/ we then need steady, mildly above-trend inflation to draw capital out of land and into productive endeavour (eg infra investment). c/ we need to simp for the rich, bring your capital here.

This morning i’ve taken my laptop to Costa and there’s a mentally ill guy outside screaming and trying to stop people walking past. He *probably* won’t get violent and therefore won’t be measured in crime statistics, but would those people be wrong to tweet that they felt unsafe?.
