https://t.co/Q9U6M2yej0 via @NYTimes The Palomar staff used to put chile rellenos on the menu because they saw me on the observer list and they knew I loved the way they made them. 🥺 I felt seen and fussed about in a way this homesick postdoc never admitted

I’m just gonna put it out there: I can’t bring myself to donate to random political texts. It seems like a huge Wonderland Area for cash scams. Even hitting unsubscribe/stop seems like it might lead to encouragement but stop I know how to donate.

Excellent article by ⁦@StartsWithABang⁩ The future of US astronomy just dimmed by half - Big Think And do not shut down an exquisite Great Observatory to save 0.x% of a NASA budget, no senior review in sight #SaveChandra@chandraxray

Last January, I noticed something peculiar in my 2yo’s bedroom that - after a year of obsessive reporting - led me to a profound cosmic revelation about what’s even possible in our universe. A 🧵.

That'll do, Ingenuity. That'll do. Today @NASA's Ingenuity helicopter ended its mission. The tiny 'copter rode to Mars in the belly of Perseverance and was only meant to perform up to 5 experimental test flights over 30 days but ended up performing 72 flights over almost 3 years.

Football. Entropy. Thermodynamics. Is probability ever exactly zero ? No, it is not. Best game: Washington-Utah. Probability of a player voluntarily spinning football on the ground a yard prior to entering the end zone. About 1 in 1000? 92-year old PopPop-inLaw says zero
