Happy 100th birthday to one of my childhood heroes and the first Ohioan in space!.
Today marks the 100th birthday of famed aviator, astronaut, & US Senator, John Glenn. Born on July 18, 1921 in New Concord, Ohio, Glenn was chosen in America’s first class of astronauts and eventually became the first American to orbit the Earth in 1962. #NASA #JohnGlenn #Space
