I think one of my best qualities as a system engineer is that I'm always paranoid about everything but at the same time the paranoia consumes me and I can't stop thinking of everything that can go wrong. why am I on a Sunday thinking about all the different ways things will fail.

There were a lot of tweets talking about how people who are supporting Mamdani in NYC from India don't know the local politicians or the MLAs. What is the point of knowing them when they don't have the power or money to do anything. We all depend on the centre too much.
In China, 51% of the total government spending is controlled at the city level, 27% in the US, whereas in India it is mere 3%. This makes India far more centralised than nearly all countries in the world. Why are we so obsessed about centralized spending of money from Delhi ?
