Perfectly alright with the diagnostic burden being "passed on" to medicine. Particularly in case of multi-system involvement. That being said, any surgeon worth their salt sould be more than capable of identifying a dire surgical emergency requiring urgent surgical intervention.
That's why many patients land up in medicine rather than in surgery just because surgery people refuse to take those patients despite of clinical findings and for what? they want imaging and then there are radio people refusing their work and sending back patients.

Why would you order imaging (particularly an emergency study) without providing the required clinical details and specific indication to do the scan?.They are well within their rights to do that, and I'd exactly do the same. I'd also call out my registrar / intern for doing so.
@ashwinrajenesh Our hospital has a terrible horrible Radio HOD who literally sends every patient back to casualty which is also 10 mins from radio department, and asks for indications every f*cking time. Are bhai agar emergency na hoti to bhejte hi kyu itni raat me.

Having absolutely no class is modern India's remonstration to having been subjected to hundreds of years of class based societal stratification.
I'm an Indian. I love my country, and I love to travel. But lately, I've started feeling a sense of dread and second-hand embarrassment when I see a large group of my countrymen at a tourist spot. And I'm sick of it. This isn't about culture. Spreading out a meal on an airport.

Patients aren't meant to be "brought" for an eFAST. The eFAST is meant to be brought to them.
Every time an intern brings a patient for eFAST, I ask them the full form. So far, only 1 could answer and that too, barely. #MedTwitter.

Absolutely, I actually agree with you. It is the duty of the government (and thus, the people who elect it) to have a strong, incorruptible, scientific, evidence-based regulation & enforcement for the practice of medicine. Only in it's absence does such madness thrive and ensue.
@ashwinrajenesh All citizens of India need to come out to protect themselves from the modern medicine and its predatory practices. Unnecessary use of medicine and its commercial interests are ruining lives of people. We must stand against this evil.
