Little late to watch #MrandMrsMahi but SharanSharma is definitely a promising director. Gives the protagonist so much scope to perform.

#ACompleteUnknown worked more for that trip to Nashville. Sheer mention of folk and Johnny Cash brought more than a smile and some tears. Superb performance by Chalamet.

#PastLives is another one for real cinema lovers. That climax works because rest of the film does. To feel for those characters in sheer silence- magic. Fantastic direction.

#AStarIsBorn has Lady Gaga stamped on it. The credit appears on her walk through a NY by lane. But watch it again and Bradley Cooper is the star. Actor director. The cliche scene of manager cursing him hold gold because of him. And he’s only listening.

#SilverLiningPlaybook is Jennifer Lawrence all the way yes but who could take away that superb scene from Robert Di Niro at the end and a layered act by Bradley Cooper.
