The reason is that if the user has any sense of research, they can expand upon what I am supplying and further tweak the rice, thus treating i3-dotfiles as a launchpad to get started faster.

Beyond that, the new theme will be centered around the Dracula color scheme, as I want this new rice to be more “universal” for whatever apps anyone uses, from their file browser to their web browser, etc.

Hopefully, it’ll be complete within the next few weeks. I want to nuke and remake the i3-dotfiles repo and package for that “clean slate” feel, so we’ll see how that goes.

I was initially planning to release this early July, but my vacation was more liberating than expected, so the deadline will move further out.
