Congratulations to @MarkJCarney - a visionary leader. By the way America...you do realize that in North America we have one neighbor, Canada, with a key leader on #climatefinance as the incoming PM and another, Mexico, led by a #climatescientist. Think about that...I sure am.

Tonight I had the honor of taking my dad, Bijan (we call him Beej) as my date to a White House reception with President Biden for new Members of Congress — as a gift for his 70th birthday. My dad immigrated to the United States to study engineering at the University of Oregon.
