Thank you @cadentgashelp for removing these temporary traffic signals. Disruptions caused by unavoidable roadworks are inevitable, however locals and commuters expect local authorities to exercise due diligence to ensure these are kept to a bare minimum.
The temporary traffic signals at Bury New/Singleton Rd/Moor Lane junction have been in place for over a month and are causing extreme inconvenience to thousands of locals & commuters. The signals work 24 hours/day. @cadentgashelp how many hours/day are you workers on site?

Over 2 years have passed since Vine St partially collapsed and residents are still living with restricted emergency access and in fear of further deterioration. I’ve called on @salford_mayor to intervene and ensure the road is repaired and reopened ASAP. https://t.co/oSg7UFgU2F
Following works to repair an underground leaking pipe and extensive checks to ensure the road isn't collapsing any further, the next phase of essential works on Vine Street are due to commence on Mon 1 Nov. Residents will receive a detailed letter from @SalfordCouncil this week.

An ambulance was involved in an RTC on Salford's ungritted, icy roads. Thankfully nobody was hurt but the🚑 is out of service with £10K's-worth of damage to both parties. If only @SalfordCouncil delivered basic services, e.g. gritting roads, instead of hoarding taxpayer's money.

Lovely to be including in an award ceremony with @manchesterfire few years ago these brave firemen rescued a number of children from a fire along with some adults. Hatzola assisted at the CCP and transported the children to hospital, all fully recovered @ResilientGM @HatzolaMcr

One of the biggest issues facing my residents is @SalfordLabour's policy to reduce bin collections to once in 3 weeks. Today I again raised this matter but my comments were shamelessly misconstrued as a complaint against @SalfordCouncil's wonderful & devoted environmental team.😡

.@SalfordCouncil replaced individual #recycling bins with large, communal bins in a bid to keep this alleyway tidy, however they're insufficient and the Council refuses to supply more. I wish someone could explain why @SalfordCouncil would restrict residents from recycling more?

Residents contacted me about water seeping out of the ground on Castlewood Road. @unitedutilities have been out to inspect but have determined that it is not fresh water. @SalfordCouncil will carry out further examinations to determine the source.

It’s no surprise, with @SalfordLabour’s annual council tax rise & constant cuts to public services. The only way for them to gain seats would be to trick residents into voting for a candidate supposedly opposed to @SalfordLabour’s policies who then joins Labour once elected.
Labour are still firmly in control of Salford Council, but Salford mayor Paul Dennett was ‘disappointed’ that the party had lost 3 seats, 2 of them to the Lib Dems - in Ordsall and the Quays. #LocalElections2022 In Manchester the count starts this morming with results around 3pm.

It was a pleasure to attend the launch of @HatzolaMcr's new ambulance last week, where I was shown the state-of-the-art apparatus and joined a crew on a trial drive.
H1 Bay will now be filled again... after 2yrs in design we are having the grand launch of our new custom built ambulance tonight.
