Council and Parliament reach a provisional agreement to facilitate alternative dispute resolution - resolving disputes at lower costs between consumers and traders. ADR procedures will be more accessible and better suited to the digital age.

Big progress for inland waterway transport! The Council and Parliament have reached a provisional deal to update the River Information Services Directive. This means better data sharing, digital compatibility, safer, and more efficient traffic on Europe's rivers.

Big step for EU energy security! The Council and Parliament have provisionally agreed to extend gas-storage rules by two years. While the 90% target is still obligatory, a number of flexibilities were introduced, to prevent excessive prices and market manipulations.
