Google's Deep Research is an excellent application of agentic capabilities. One example something it can do pretty well is search for all my podcasts and interviews and create a webpage listing them. Cuts down effort at least 10x compared to doing it manually. The reason it works.

Lately I've been seeing a lot of hype around quantum computing on this platform. Are those bots or humans? Either way, what I'm seeing is concerning. I want to provide an honest perspective on the current status quo, which is hopefully useful. Long story short, I do think a lot.

Discussion of emergent vs intentional architecture is nuanced. In my experience, the necessity for emergent architecture is very rare. It is mostly laziness. @TracyBannon makes a compelling argument for intentional architecture #softwarearchitecture.

I had recently read 'The Gene' by @DrSidMukherjee which gave an amazing perspective of the complexity of Genetics and the opportunities. This thread on Immuno Computer Interface is fascinating, and paints picture of how computing can help augment the immune system.

Our immune system is amazing, but faces pandemics, cancer and aging. It's also wired to reject what we need to extend our healthspans & minds: organs, implants, new genes. It's time to radically augment it. We need to build an immune-computer interface (ICI). A manifesto🧵!
